(Summary description)
Coronary angiography developed from the early femoral approach to the current mainstream radial approach (TRA) . In 2017, Kiemeneij et al first reported the clinical study of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) via distal radial artery (DTRA) in left snuff fossa. Recently, Demax has introduced a full range of solutions for distal radial artery access, including two new products: thin-wall sheath and distal radial artery compression tourniquets, the aim is to provide more safe and effective treatment options for clinical and patients.
Thin-wall sheath
Compared with traditional sheath, the thickness of the thin-wall sheath is reduced by about 50%
Demax thin-wall sheath, which has large lumen. Compared with the traditional sheath, sheath thickness achieved about 50% reduction. It can help to reduce the incidence of radial artery spasm and radial artery occlusion, and bring more safe and comfortable diagnosis and treatment experience for patients.
Distal radial artery compression tourniquets
Another new product---Distal radial artery compression tourniquets, use a three-part fixed structure, which is easy to operate, stable and safe, and provides effective support for postoperative hemostatic rehabilitation of patients.
